I use silicone micro rings as they do not damage your hair and reduce slipping. Non silicone micro rings WILL shred the hair where they have been attached, therefore damaging your own hair. I also use hair that is a minimum of 0.7g per strand rather than the cheaper option of 0.5g. Unfortunately, I do not recommend extensions to anyone with badly chemically damaged hair (bleach/perm etc) that is at the roots as the hair is distressed and is more likely to break with the rings attached.
