13 MOONS KITCHEN HERBCRAFT-Distance Learning Course +

Herbal Heritage Scotland are really pleased to announce the launch next month of our distance learning : 13 MOON KITCHEN HERBCRAFT course (Begins 2nd August) Over the course of 13 months you will work through the subjects of basic Anatomy & Physiology, Phytochemistry, Plant families and Properties, Herbal Therapeutics and Energetics, Folklore and Tradition, Making Home Remedies and Their Application and look at 33 common herbs in close detail. By the end of the course you will be equipped with a good knowledge base for making your own home remedies and treating yourself for common ailments using readily available ingredients. The course is delivered to you by Email or Post one unit at a time, and you will need to submit coursework before continuing to the next level. You will also be supplied each month with a suggested bibliography and recommended references and source sites. The home remedy making level will come with raw ingredients to experiment with making ointments and creams. This can be completed at your own pace, although it is suggested that you take approximately 1 month for each level. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate and become a Friend For Life of Herbal Heritage Scotland.
